Bernice M. Sizemore, age 89, of London, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of Sally Moore, Betty Brown and husband Rodger, Danny Ray Sizemore and wife Sandra, and Jeffrey Dewayne Sizemore and wife Bridgett all of London, Kentucky, Joyce Sizemore of LaGrange, Kentucky, and Lola Grace Marlin of Lexington, Tennessee; the sister of Claudette Morgan, Nannie Couch, Wanda Lee, and Bearl Morgan all of Essie, Kentucky, and Ronnie Morgan of Corbin, Kentucky. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cleopas Sizemore, by her parents, Charlie Morgan and Fannie Ethel (Jones) Morgan, and by five siblings; Edward Morgan, Billy Don Morgan, Alvin Morgan, Harold Morgan, and John D. Morgan. Funeral services for Bernice M. Sizemore will be conducted Sunday, April 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Rufus Slusher and Bro. Fred Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family of Bernice M. Sizemore will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017. Serving as pallbearers; Josh Sizemore, Chris Sizemore, Brady Asher, Wendel Saylor, Mark Ellison, Dustin Ramey, Darrell Moore, Kendall Freeman, Joe Freeman, and Ethan Whitman.Read Obituary

I will miss my Mamaw more than words can express... She was that person in my life that could always get through to me. She never turned me away when I needed her. She was so much more than a grandmother, she was my voice of reason and my source of comfort. I'm sure many would agree. My hearts breaks knowing that I will not have any new memories with her, but my heart also rejoices knowing that she will never suffer again. I will continue to tell my children, and future grandchildren, about my awesome Mamaw. I will tell them how I was convinced I could outrun her as a child and she would run me down to prove me wrong. I'll tell them how her laundry also smelled so fresh. I'll tell them about hot chocolate made on the stove in the basement and how she would warm my shoes and coat with the blower beneath, just to make sure I would stay warm while waiting for the school bus. There are so many memories and I'm so grateful for that. She is gone to paradise now, but those left here on earth will NEVER forget her.

I remember visiting Bernice and Cleopas at a young age. They were both God fearing, kind people. I just know they are now rejoicing in heaven together. May God bless you all.
