When Linda and I married, Roger and Betty were the first to visit and spent the night with us in our little "honeymoon house". We always enjoyed our time with them. There was always lots of talking and laughing. Betty was a very generous person and loved doing things for everyone. Betty was my niece but she was thought of as more like a sister. We loved her and will miss her.

Our dear Betty will be missed for her laughter, compassion, and love of family and friends. She enjoyed making gifts of baked goods or sewing projects for others to enjoy and share. The Fall Season of colors gave her great joy in decorating her home and inviting others to share. Of course, Christmas was her favorite time of the year. She decorated every corner of her home inside and outside. Her pleasure in opening her home during the holidays to be with others was important. Her love in sharing and giving of herself will always remain high in all our thoughts. Her personal strength and spirit will be missed by all. She will be at Peace now, her struggles are finished.
Her photo shows her joy for life and laughter. Remember someone special in your life, make a call, send a note, make a friend-be a friend, reach out to others-we all need a hug, life is precious, be gentle.

Betty had sisters who loved her to bits. We all left home to live throughout the USA and raise our families When we managed to get together it was a special life event that the time was always precious and memorable. Betty would have us laughing and giggling like school girls. It was such a feel good time. Goodbye sweet sister: you will be so missed. Marvie, your big sister.

in honor of Betty.

I will miss Betty very much. She was a wonderful friend to me and a caring neighbor for well over these last 10 years. It was Betty that brought us all together as a neighborhood. Where so few people today truly know one another it was Betty that sat out to make it her goal that we would be more than just neighbors we would be friends. She was a caring soul that I came to love and her loss will leave a hole in my heart that I will carry with me the rest of my days. We love you Betty. Your suffering is over my friend... now you can at long last Rest In Peace.
Love,
Kris Thompson
