Brownie Lee Wilson

Brownie Lee Wilson, age 86, husband of Edna June (Brown) Wilson, of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Judy K. Cromer of Lexington, Kentucky, Sandra Lee Amburn of Fisherville, Kentucky, Johnny Wilson of London, Kentucky, and Shirley Fields of Louisville, Kentucky; the brother of Ruth Steele of Varnell, Georgia, and Rev. Sim Wilson II of Cohutta, Georgia. He was also blessed with four great grandchildren, and two step great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Charles Andrew Cromer and Catherine June Amburn, by his parents,Rev. Sim A. Wilson and Margaret Elizabeth (Petree) Wilson, by his siblings, Bill Wilson, Starlin Wilson, John Wilson, Ray Wilson, Reba Wilson, and Four Infants. He was a retired United States Army Veteran, and a member of Faith Assembly of God. Funeral services for Brownie Lee Wilson will be conducted Friday, March 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sim Wilson II, Rev. Ruth Steele, Pastor Dan Collard, and Pastor Bobby Helton officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens with Full Military Honors.
