Daisy Mae Proffitt

Daisy Mae (Whitaker) Proffitt, age 95, of Lexington, Kentucky and formerly of Laurel County, passed away Saturday, November 4, 2017. She was the mother of Estill Proffitt and wife Lorene of Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, Ray Proffitt and wife Sandy, and Joyce Proffitt all of Lexington, Kentucky, Ronnie Proffitt and wife Pam, and Robert Proffitt and wife Debbie all of Versailles, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Proffitt; by two children, Mary Sue Hall and Orville Proffitt; by her parents, Charlie and Susie Whitaker. Funeral services for Daisy Mae (Whitaker) Proffitt will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rough Creek Cemetery. The family of Daisy Mae (Whitaker) Proffitt will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the service hour on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
