Dixie M. Smith

Dixie M. (Gay) Smith, age 79, of Lexington, Kentucky formerly of Laurel County passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Bluegrass Care and Rehab in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the mother of Denise Smith and husband Joe Childers and Kyle Smith and wife Kathy all of Lexington, Kentucky. The sister of Jerry Gay and wife Connie of East Bernstadt, Kentucky and the grandmother of William Smith Childers and Rena May Childers both of Lexington, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her parents Rena (York) Gay and Arch Glass Gay. A gathering of remembrance will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel. The family of Dixie M. (Gay) Smith will receive friends after 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at London Funeral Home.
