Donald Floyd Parsons

Donald Floyd Parsons, age 78, husband of Dorothy (Osborne) Parsons of Somerset, Kentucky and formerly of Laurel County, passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at his residence. He was the father of; Donald Parsons Jr. and wife Jennifer of Berea, Kentucky, Louetta Morgan and husband Mitchell of Corbin, Kentucky, and Angel Lawson and husband Frankie of Morristown, Tennessee, the brother of; Peggy Lucas of Chillicothe, Ohio, Linda Barnett, Gary Parsons, and Lonnie Parsons all of Jamestown, Ohio. He is also survived by his step-mother, Rosa Parsons of Jamestown, Ohio, and by his grandchildren; Jacob David Morgan, John Michael Morgan, Emily Faith Parsons, and Haley Lawson. He was preceded in death by his parents; Lawrence Parsons and Lula Mae (Bruner) Parsons, and by two siblings; Larry Parsons and David Parsons. He was a Dairy Operator, of the Pentecostal Faith, and a United States Army Veteran. Funeral Services for Donald Floyd Parsons will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, September 15, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Fee, Jerry Holland, and Kenneth Bush officiating. Burial will follow at Osborne Cemetery with DAV Chapter 165, McKee, Kentucky in charge of military honors. The family of Donald Floyd Parsons will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Thursday, September 14, 2017.
