Donnie Lee Watson, age 73, husband of Linda (Edwards) Watson of London, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was the father of Bill Kindred and wife Sharon, Ray Kindred, Tonia Sparks and husband Pat, Tracy McHone and husband Kenny all of Berea, Kentucky, and the brother of Patricia Lynn Watson McFarland of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Cecil Phillip Watson and Dollie Watson, by two children; Wayne Kindred and Elaine Thompson, and by two siblings, Monty Gail Watson and Jerry Kirk Watson. Funeral Services for Donnie Lee Watson will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gene Greene officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Donnie Lee Watson will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 AM Thursday, July 20, 2017 until the funeral hour. I have many memories of my Uncle Donnie. One of the best ones was when I was little he bought me a smurf watch for Christmas after he told me I wasn't getting it. He cared about everyone. He loved his wife Linda and his family. I love you Uncle Donnie and im gonna miss you very much. We might not always seen eye to eye but I always knew you loved me no matter what and I love you. I will see you again one day soon. Rest easy.The hard part is over now you can rest and be at peace.
