Geneva Riggs, age 98, of Lexington, Kentucky and formerly of Laurel County passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, Kentucky. She was the mother of Angie Hodge of Lexington, Kentucky. She is also survived by her grandson, Montie Hodge, and by her great-grandhchildren, Amber and Emma Hodge. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Queve Shepherd, by her second husband, Newt Riggs, by one son, R.J. Shepherd, by her parents, Robert Earl Parker and Angie Browning Parker, and by her siblings, Marie Cather, Allie Manning, and Bea Patton. Visitation for Geneva Riggs will be from 10:00 AM Friday until 10:30 AM Friday, December 29, 2017 at London Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Zion Cemetery.Read Obituary
