Henry “Tinker” Patton, age 86, husband of Mavis "Tootsie" (Allen) Patton of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Tuesday at his residence. He was the father of Larry Patton and wife Patricia of East Bernstadt, Kentucky and Tommy Patton and wife Ronda of Peru, Indiana. He is also survived by his son-in-law, Ralph Lipps of London, Kentucky, by his grandchildren; Neisje and Brandon Bishop, Dustin and Amanda Patton, all of Kokomo, Indiana, Rokeena and Todd Williams and Chasitty and Brian Burnette all of Indianapolis, Indiana, Aaron and Sarah Uttinger of Peru, Indiana, Jennifer and Chuck Jones of London, Kentucky, Steven Patton and Tiffany Sowders both of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Jason and Brenda Lipps of Colorado, and by his great-grandchildren; Cruz and Kannon Bishop, Lelan and Jullian Williams, Cienna and Amiah Patton, Christa, Grace and Eave Uttinger, Brenden, and Braylen Burnette, Chase and Elaina Jones. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Lipps, by his parents, Johnny Patton and Hedy (Sternamen) Patton, and by his siblings; Pearl Hoskins, Grace Hyatt, Opal Marlow, Doris Mullins, Bulah Tuner, and Roy Patton. He was the owner of Laurel Termite Control and a member of First Baptist Church East Bernstadt. He loved his church and family and enjoyed fishing, boating, and camping. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. A special thank you to Janet, Lisa, and Donald for all their help, as well as hospice for the care they provided. Also a special thank you to First Baptist Church East Bernstadt for their love, prayer, and visits. Funeral Services for Henry “Tinker” Patton will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday in London Funeral Home Chapel with Norm Brock, Glen Toney, and Tommy Tapscott officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Swiss Reform Cemetery East Bernstadt, Kentucky.The family of Henry “Tinker” Patton will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon Friday until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to: First Baptist Church East Bernstadt building fund.
