Hershel Lynn Bowling

Hershel Lynn Bowling, age 83, of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Rita Phillips of London, Kentucky; the brother of John Bowling and wife Goldie of London, Kentucky. He is also survived by six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, plus a host of nieces and nephews he loved as his own. He was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet (Baker) Bowling, by his son, Hershel Bowling Jr., by his parents, Reynold Bowling and Nora (Napier) Bowling, and by fourteen siblings; Edna Reynolds, Edith Hedger, Alma Ducker, Norma Jean Sizemore, Kathleen Jones, Pauline Helton, Rose Bowling, Joann Bowling, Ann Howard, Ralph Bowling, Willie Bowling, Earl Bowling, Ford Bowling, and George Bowling. Funeral Services for Hershel Lynn Bowling will be conducted 1:00 PM Saturday, September, 02, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Ryan Osborne officiating. Burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery. The family of Hershel Lynn Bowling will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Friday, September 01, 2017.Read Obituary
