Jay McKnight

Jay McKnight, age 58, husband of Beverly (Baird) McKnight of Strunk, Kentucky and formerly of Laurel County, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Sarah Jean McKnight of Somerset, Kentucky, and Amanda Kay McKnight of Strunk, Kentucky; the son of Minnie Esteen (Lewis) McKnight of London, Kentucky; the brother of Burnie Gambrel, W. Joe McKnight and wife Conitha all of London, Kentucky, and Claudia Fay Crum and husband Steve of South Shore, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard McKnight. Funeral services for Jay McKnight will be conducted Friday, October 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor William Kilby and Bro. Harold Baird officiating. Burial will follow at Rough Creek Cemetery. The family of Jay McKnight will receive friends on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at East Pine Knot Tabernacle Church of God, McCreary County, Kentucky, and after 8:00 a.m. Friday, October 13, 2017 until service time at London Funeral Home.
