Jessie (Moore) Davis, age 91 of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was the mother of Kathy Benge and husband Harold, the sister of; Robert Boggs, Ed Boggs, Bert Boggs, Doris Taylor, Mary Lou Davis, and Earl Boggs all of Dayton, Ohio, Peggy Grabell of Rose Hill, Virginia, and Agnes Young of Phoenix, Arizona. She is also survived by four grandchildren; Jessica Benge Reynolds, Elizabeth Sparks, Becki Fannin, Katie Moore, and by five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by a special friend; Gloria Scott. She was preceded in death by her son, Tim Moore, by her parents, Jess Boggs and Pearl (Wilson) Boggs, by her first husband, Roy Moore, by her second husband, Aubrey Davis, and by six siblings; Wilson Boggs, Clyde Boggs, Don Boggs, Ralph Boggs, Wilma Moore, and Pat Johnson. She was a bookkeeper and a member of Carmichael Community Church. Funeral Services for Jessie (Moore) Davis will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, June 22, 2018 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Reynolds Cemetery – Tyner, Kentucky. The family of Jessie (Moore) Davis will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon Friday, June 22, 2018 until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Carmichael Comminity Church.
