John Wallace Black

John Wallace Black, age 85, husband of Arlene (Williams) Black of London, Kentucky passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. He was the father of John David Black and wife Kathy of Keavy, Kentucky and Suzanne Farmer and husband Todd of Paducah, Kentucky. He was also blessed with four grandchildren, Reagan Farmer, Andrew Farmer, Makenzie Jones, and Abby Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, O.H. Black and Lela (Smith) Black; by one sister, Carolyn Black. Funeral Services for John Wallace Black will be conducted 2:00 PM Friday, February 17, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Wright and Rev. Ryan Coffey officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of military honors. The family of John Wallace Black will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM on Thursday, February 16, 2017. Serving as pallbearers are Danny Evans, James Williams, Mike Williams, John Miller, Rodney Armstrong, Glenn Cobb, Bob Brooks and Jeff Stidham. Serving as honorary pallbearers are Wallace's Sunday School Class, Bill Dezarn, David Mayes, Lawrence Kuhl and Bob Morris.
