Liza Roberta Thompson

Liza Roberta Thompson age 98 of Lily, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 04, 2018 at The Heritage in Corbin, Kentucky. She was the mother of Ernest Thompson and wife Pat, and Dennis Thompson and wife Sue all of London, Kentucky. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Jennifer Kohl, Terry Thompson, and Stephanie McKnight all of London, four great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John H. Black and Ida (Murphy) Black, and by her siblings, Hazel Britton, Julia Parker, Edgar Black, Virgil Black, William Black, Elmer Black, and Clatus Black. She was a retired cook and a member of Lily Baptist Church. Funeral Services for Liza Roberta Thompson will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, January 07, 2018 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Wilmer Evans officiating. Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, Corbin, Kentucky. The family of Liza Roberta Thompson will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon Sunday, January 07, 2018 until the funeral hour.
