Lola Smith

Lola (Edwards) Smith, age 68, wife of Larry Smith of London, Kentucky and formerly of Clay County, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the home of her daughter. She was the mother of Tonya Smith and Gary Smith both of London, Kentucky; the sister of Evelyn Estep of Manchester, Kentucky, Joann Hoskins of Jackson, Kentucky, and Glen Edwards of Barbourville, Kentucky. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Katelyn Smith and Chaz Woolum both of London, Kentucky, and one great grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her son, James Smith; by her parents, Willie Edwards and Pearlie (Jones) Edwards; by her siblings, Roxie Mills, Samantha Merdie, Irene Bingham, Tip Edwards, Otis Edwards, Ricky Edwards, Marvin Jones, and Rosie Edwards. She was the owner of Lola's Place in London, Kentucky. Funeral services for Lola (Edwards) Smith will be conducted Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 12:00 noon in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Owens and Joe Crockett officiating. Burial will follow at Beech Creek Cemetery in Manchester, Kentucky. The family of Lola (Edwards) Smith will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.Read Obituary
