Luemma Shirkey

Luemma (Smith) Shirkey, age 70, of London, Kentucky passed away Friday, May 18, 2018 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the mother of Curtis Dale Shirkey and Jeffrey Wayne Shirkey both of Michigan, Donald Ray Shirkey of Hunter, West Virginia, Debra Smith, Kirsten Faye Crouch, and Peyton Dale Crouch all of London, Kentucky; the sister of Wanda Hawk of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Shelby Smith and Dorothy (Taylor) Smith; by one great grandchild, Baby Merritt; by her siblings, Sylvester Smith, Nana Faye Smith, Phyllis Sue Smith, Gladys Smith, Irene Stewart, Willa Jean Lewis, Kenneth Ray Smith, and T.C. Smith. Funeral services for Luemma (Smith) Shirkey will be conducted Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel.
