This picture is from an afternoon when Judy and grandma Nora came to Ohio, and we ate lunch together. Two very special people. Both are very missed.

When we look up into the night sky, it is possible to "see" stars that no longer exist- a phenomenon which has long fascinated me. This is possible because of the extreme brightness with which the star shown and the long travel time it takes for the light to travel from the star to our eyes. I believe there are people who share this beautiful quality. After they are gone, their light, through the love and kindness they invested in others, can still be seen shining bright. Grandma was one of these people. I will miss her and continue to appreciate her light every day. Jeremy
