Pearl Taylor

Pearl Cupp Taylor of Annville KY, formerly of Whitley County, KY, Cincinnati, OH, London, KY and Melbourne, FL passed away Saturday May 19, 2018 at the age of 98.She was born in Wofford, KY October 15, 1919. She is survived by her six children and spouses Felix (Bert) Taylor, Zester (Rosie) Taylor, Retha Lewis-Harden, Ruth (Carl) Custer, Hershel (Karen) Taylor, and Ellis (Karen) Taylor. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer R. Taylor and parents Marion F. and Nannie Gross Cupp, and her brothers Andrew, Carl and Nolan Cupp.Pearl is also survived by 18 grand children, 36 great grand children, and 18 great great grand children.A celebration of her life will be held Wednesday May 23, 2018 at London Funeral Home, 897 South Main St., London, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 12 AM – 2 PM and services 2-3 PM. Officiating will be Dr. Greg Curtis and Rev. Jerry Wright. Pallbearers will be Mike Taylor, Doug Taylor, Bobby Lewis, Hal Wainscott, Hershel Taylor and Ellis Taylor. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Whitley County.In lieu of flowers it was Pearl’s wish that donations be sent to the church she belonged to for many years: Promiseland Church, 1855 Lansing St., Melbourne, FL 32935: Attn: Single Moms – Life skills and job prep or Care to share – feed the needy.
