Pleas Johns

Pleas Johns, age 80, of Lily, Kentucky passed away Wednesday at Baptist Health Corbin. He was the father of Bonnie L. Smith and husband Randy of Frankfort, Kentucky, Connie Lynn McDaniel of London, Kentucky, and Donna Gail Doan of Lily, Kentucky, the brother of John Henry Johns Jr. of Lily, Kentucky, Christine Brock, Wilma Eaton, and Patricia Wagers all of London, Kentucky, and Jimmy Johns of Corbin, Kentucky. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Travis McDaniel and wife Whitney, of Corbin, Kentucky, Glenn Doan II and wife Brenna of Perryville, Kentucky Hobie Dougherty of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Tessa King and husband Wes of London, Kentucky, and by his great-grandchildren; Brylee Harper McDaniel, Audrey Elizabeth Ann Doan, Parker Reed McDaniel, Jase Tyler Daughterty, Rylan Faith King, and Makinlynn Ruth King. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara (Hammons) Johns, by one son, Roger Pleas Johns, by his parents, John Henry Johns and Bessie Marie (Bryant) Johns, and by two siblings, Kay Boggs and Geraldine Jones. Funeral Services for Pleas Johns will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, August 18, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Fuson officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
