Rondal Clayton Floyd

Rondal Clayton Floyd, age 69, husband of Karen (Parkinson) Floyd of London, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. He was the father of; Rondal Clayton Floyd II, Andrew Justin Floyd, and Ronda Denise McFadden all of London, Kentucky, the brother of; Winford Floyd, and Frances Baxter both of London, Kentucky, LaVerne Floyd of Dadeville, Alabama, Ona Mae York of Jellico, Tennessee, the step-father of; Michael Peters of Hamilton, Ohio, Shannon Peters and Diana Sizemore both of London, Kentucky. He was also blessed with fourteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Andrew Floyd and Nellie Edith (Arthur) Floyd, and by two siblings, Lois Bunch and Lenore Durham. He was retired from Flowers Bakery, was a United States Army Veteran, and a member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral Services for Rondal Clayton Floyd will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, March 25, 2017 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow at Floyd Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158, Keavy, in charge of Military Honors. The family of Rondal Clayton Floyd will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 Noon Saturday, March 25, 2017 until the funeral hour. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense.Read Obituary
