What a loss. He was an amazing man. Rest in heaven.
To Steve's Family: Our hearts are so heavy. We have lost a true friend. Will miss his laughter, his smile and his willingness to always pitch in to help us when he thought we needed it. He loved his butterfinger candy bars. We always had them on hand and made sure we'd reorder early if they started getting low. I asked Steve one day why he chose to live on the river, and his answer was simple. It was what he loved. I worried about him just like I did my own family. I feared he'd fall in the river, and my worst fear came true. Just wish it wasn't real, but I know it is. He's probably looking down on all of us right now and saying "hey, don't weep over me. I wouldn't have it any other way". Goodbye for now our dear friend. We love you and you are missed. Kenny and Brenda Abercrombie, Licking River Campground, Falmouth, Ky.
Some people come into our lives...leave footprints on our heart...and we are never the same. My dear friend Steve, was that person. His kindred spirit and heart of gold touched my heart in many ways. He will never be forgotten. My love, thoughts and prayers are with his beautiful family. Natalie
Steven and his family were very special to me growing up. Loved them so much. So many precious memories. Sending my love to Geneva, Bob and Albert. You are in my prayers. Rest in Peace my sweet friend
