Sudie Alice Bowling, age 90 of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed Friday, May 25, 2018 at her residence. She was the mother of; Janie Thompson, Dewey Bowling, Lowell Bowling, and Scottie Bowling all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Woodard Bowling Jr and Larry Bowling both of Ohio, Lonnie Bowling and Lola Jean Reynolds both of London, Kentucky, Debra Lynn Cossman of Camden, Ohio, and Donna Gay Bowling of Oxford, Ohio, the sister of Woodard Whitehead of Hazard, Kentucky, and Essie Smith of Manchester, Kentucky. She is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and fifteen great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodard Bowling, by two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, by her parents, Sam Whitehead and Viola (Smith) Whitehead, by her step-mother, Ester (Henson) Whitehead, and by her siblings; John Whitehead, Andrew Whitehead, Rufus Whitehead, Rachel Whitehead, Wanda Mae Lawson, Linville Whitehead, Belle Johnson, Ruby Napier, Clarence Whitehead, Hazel Vaughn, and Erma Jewell Phillips. Funeral Services for Sudie Alice Bowling will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Richardson and Shaun Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Litton Cemetery. The family of Sudie Alice Bowling will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM Tuesday, May 29, 2018.Read Obituary

I've known you mom though my good friend Donna and I am so sorry to know that she has passed, but I am sure that her spirit endures!
