Thomas T Curry

THOMAS T. CURRY, age 75, of Hobart, Indiana passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center. He was born on July 1, 1942 in Manchester, KY to the late Dill and Cleo Curry as the second of their thirteen children. Tom worked as a power station operator at Bethlehem Steel and was a steelworker for Local #6787. He was a faithful member of Lakeview Baptist Church and an avid fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and Chicago Cubs. He will be deeply missed. He is survived by his daughter, Teena (Scott) Taylor; 2 grandchildren, Justin (Nicole Mundo) Taylor and Jordan (Carolynn Riley) Taylor; 2 great grandsons, Mason and Kingston; great nephew, Rance Smallwood, who was very close and very helpful to Tom; several sisters and brothers and many nieces and nephews and extended family. Tom was also preceded in death by the love of his life, Ima Jean. There will be a visitation on Monday, April 9, 2018 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., from 3:00 until time of service at 6:00 p.m. with Rev. Ronnie Cox conducting a prayer service. There will be additional visitation at London Funeral Home in Kentucky from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018. Burial will take place at Hoskins Cemetery.
