Beautiful family. So sorry for your loss!
Sometimes, people have no idea how they influenced your life, and Mrs. Blair was one of them. After a particularly troublesome 5th grade year, in which the previous teacher only saw a kid from the projects, I was lucky enough to get Mrs. Blair as a teacher. She may have been strict, but she made sure to tell me daily how smart I was. If you tell a kid something enough, they really do believe it. I'm a professor now thanks to her and many of the other teachers that guided me along the way. Thank you Mrs. Blair for all that you did for me and so many other students.
