Ada Lee Proffitt

Ada Lee Proffitt, age 74, of London, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at The Heritage in Corbin, Kentucky. She was the sister of Carol Wells and husband Joel, and Carl Cheek and wife Ercel all of London, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Larry Proffitt; by her mother, Lorene (Irvin) Stanifer; and by her nephew, Chip Cheek. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of London, Kentucky.Funeral services for Ada Lee Proffitt will be conducted Friday, December 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Terrell Bradley and Terry Amburgey officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset View Cemetery. The family of Ada Lee Proffitt will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:30 a.m. until time of service on Friday, December 31, 2021.Serving as pallbearers will be: Travis Wells, Kyle Wells, Stephen Wells, Michael Cheek, Jason Cheek, and Jonathan Earley.Honorary pallbearers will be: Cameron Cheek, Bob Irvin, and Donnie Rogers.Read Obituary
