Alberta Adams, age 68 of London, passed away Friday May 10, 2019 at St. Joseph Hospital Lexington. She was the sister of Bobbie Jones of London, Kentucky and Ruby Pawula and husband Mike of Corbin, Kentucky. The Aunt of Dewayne Fields and wife Stephanie and Doug Jones and wife Megan of London, Kentucky and Derrick Adams and wife Christany of Corbin, Kentucky. The Great Aunt of Hannah Adams, Brody Adams, Ian Jones and Dawson Adams all of Corbin, Kentucky; and Hunter Jones of London, Kentucky. The Grandmother of Gabe Lay of Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents Jim and Fannie Tipton Adams, by one sister Edith Adams Fields Hart. Funeral services for Alberta Adams will be conducted Wednesday May 15, 2019 at 2:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Jackson and Gary Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Blair Cemetery. The family of Alberta Adams will receive friends at London Funeral Home on Tuesday May 14, 2019 after 6:00 PM. Pallbearers are Derrick Adams, Doug Jones, Dewayne Fields, Ian Jones, Josh Scott, and Hunter Jones.Read Obituary
