Alberta Louise Champion

Alberta Louise Champion, age 71, wife of Richmond Champion of London, Kentucky passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the mother of Oma Alliene Hutton and husband Burl, George Douglas Champion and wife Tammy, and Richmond Lee Champion, Jr., all of London, Kentucky; the sister of Rose Alliene Gross of Port Orchard, Washington, and Susie Scoville of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lowell and Ina Alliene (Fansler) Stemen; and by her sisters, Fern Laurel Lee and Sue Stemen. Funeral services for Alberta Louise Champion will be conducted Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Delmer Gross officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Alberta Louise Champion will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, October 20, 2020. Serving as pallbearers will be: Timothy Hutton, Timothy Jones, Lane Hale, and Doug Champion. Honorary Pallbearer will be: Dawn Hutton.Read Obituary
