Anita Humfleet

Anita Humfleet, age 85, of Georgia and formerly of Laurel County passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Eastside Piedmont Medical Center in Snellville, Georgia. She was the mother of Steve Humfleet and wife Jitta of Librun, Georgia and Brett Humfleet of Longwood, Florida; the sister of Mike Page of Woodland, Texas. She was also blessed with one grandchild, Malina Humfleet. She was preceded in death by her spouse, William Humfleet; by her parents, Thomas and Laverne (Woods) Page.She was valedictorian of her senior class at Jonesboro-Hodge High School, attended LSU and U.K. where she obtained a degree in speech pathology. She was also a piano teacher and also taught for the Orange County School System. Her main hobby was playing bridge at a master level.Graveside services and burial for Anita Humfleet will be conducted Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at McDaniel Cemetery in London, Kentucky with Dr. Terry Lester officiating.
