Betty Lou Adams

Betty Lou (Maggard) Adams, 74, of London, was born March 5, 1943 and departed this life on February 11, 2018 at Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin, Kentucky.She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Nannie Bell Maggard and was preceded in death by eight siblings, Keith, Kelly, Marie, Britt, Rose, Scott, Juanita, and Eldon. She is survived by one brother, Warren Gene Maggard.Betty is survived by her husband of 56 years, Elmon Adams, and four sons, Gary Adams (Lisa), Scott Adams (Melissa), Kenny Adams (Kathi), and Mark Adams, all of London. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Brooke Adams, Brittany Adams, Emily Adams, Alyssa Adams, Mason Adams, Jarrett Morgan, Justin Morgan, and Sasha Saunders.Betty was a homemaker and a member of Union United Baptist Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all.Funeral services for Betty Lou Adams will be conducted at 2 PM on Wednesday February 14, 2018 at London Funeral Home with Roy Hamblin and Greg Deaton officiating. The family of Betty Lou Adams will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2018.Pallbearers will be Dean Adams, Anthony Adams, Terry Adams, Shawn Jackson, Jarrett Morgan, and Justin Morgan.
