Special thanks to Dr. Sara Abbeyquaye who is an amazing physician and person. Her compassion is unsurpassed and so appreciated. We are also grateful for the care given by Julie Helton and Michelle of Caretenders.Betty was always concerned for others and helping those in need. She once won $50 on a lottery ticket and we went to Krispy Kreme and bought donuts and gave them out to the homeless. In that spirit of giving, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, you consider donating in Betty’s honor to Christian Appalachian Project or to Shriners Hospitals for Children Medical Center in Lexington, KY. In addition, please do a random act of kindness for a stranger in her honor, whether it’s buying a cup of coffee or holding the door open for someone. Be the light you want to see in the world. All families respectfully request that all visitors wear a face covering and adhere to social distancing recommendations.
