Betty Sue Bennett

Betty Sue (Anderson) Bennett, age 66, wife of Patrick David Bennett, of London, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at University of Tennessee Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. She was the mother of Portia Lynn Stevens and Christopher Douglas both of Knoxville, Tennessee, Anitra Douglas of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Boyce Dean Bennett, Delilah Sweet, and Heather Sweet all of London, Kentucky, and David Lee Bennett of Corbin, Kentucky; the sister of Wilma Huddleston of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Brenda Douglas of McCreary County, Kentucky. She was also blessed with fifteen grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Lynn Douglas; by her son, David Anthony Douglas; by her parents, Ernest Edward Anderson and Hattie Dovie (Bishop) Huddleston; by her brother, Ricky Anderson. Funeral services for Betty Sue Bennett will be conducted Sunday, August 19, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Darrell Blankenship and Jimmy Sizemore officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery. The family of Betty Sue Bennett will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018.
