Betty Dotson

Betty (Cornett) Dotson, age 97, of London, Kentucky passed away Monday October 8, 2018 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of Glenna Cupp and husband Gary and Dale Dotson and wife Kathy all of London, Kentucky and William “Bill” Dotson and wife Debby of Lexington, Kentucky; the sister of Elsie Thomas and Hiram Cornett both of London, Kentucky. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orie Dotson; by her parents, Steve Cornett and Sudie (Creech) Cornett; by her siblings, Willie Cornett, Sam Cornett, Joe Cornett, Tom Cornett, Lucy Smith, Nell Huston, Bessie Bowling, and Icea Dezarn. She was a member of First Baptist Church of London, Kentucky, and a retired school teacher. Funeral Services for Betty (Cornett) Dotson will be conducted Saturday October 13, 2018 at 1:00 PM in London Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Greg Curtis and John Salley officiating. Burial will follow at Cornett Cemetery in Fogertown, Kentucky. The family of Betty (Cornett) Dotson will receive friends at London Funeral Home on Saturday October 13, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Pallbearers are John Dotson, Rick Dotson, Greg Dotson, Daniel Dotson, Dylan Dotson, Kyle Lanham, Jon Salley, and Ben Tucker. Honorary Pallbearers are Brian Kirby and Josh Wheelers.Read Obituary
