Betty A. (Baker) Marcum

Betty A. (Baker) Marcum, age 89, of London, Kentucky passed away Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly. She was the mother of Cathy Hall and husband Eddy, Craig Baker and wife Donna, and Kevin Marcum and wife Amanda all of London, Kentucky; the sister of Lois Baker, Nellie Swanner, and Helen Smith all of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with six grandchildren, Shannon Pennington, Stephanie Winberry, Chad McNew, Courtney Phillips, Carley Marcum, and Reed Marcum; by eight great-grandchildren, Skylar Pennington, Chase Pennington, Makayla Lawson, Taryn Winberry, Ty Winberry, Barkley McNew, Eden Phillips, and Riggins Phillips; by one great great-grandchild, Axton McCowan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Carl Marcum; by her parents, George and Florence (Brown) Baker; and by her siblings, Dorothy Taylor Hensley, Myrtle Singleton, James Baker, Claude Eugene Baker, Harold Lee Baker, and Jackie Ray Baker. Graveside services and burial for Betty A. (Baker) Marcum will be conducted Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. There will be no visitation. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements. Serving as pallbearers will be: Craig Baker, Kevin Marcum, Reed Marcum, Tom Hagedorn, Chase Pennington, and Ty Winberry.Read Obituary
