Bonnie Sue Birchfield

Bonnie Sue Birchfield, age 69, wife of James Birchfield of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Monday, July 8, 2019 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was the mother of Crystal Michelle Birchfield and Carey Hampton and husband Jeff all of Somerset, Kentucky, Lee Birchfield and wife Amy of Dallas, Texas, and Amy Birchfield and Mack of Monticello, Kentucky; the sister of Ruby Sweet of Seymour, Indiana and Carl Vaughn of Corbin, Kentucky. She is also survived by two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her children, James Ray Birchfield, Sheila Ann Birchfield, and Jonathon Gilbert Birchfield; by her parents, Oscar and Bessie Ellen (Phelps) Vaughn; by her siblings, Christine Adams, Shirley Carter, Della Goforth, Irene Witt, Dexter Vaughn, and Oscar Daniel Vaughn, Jr. Funeral services for Bonnie Sue Birchfield will be conducted Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Herman Hamilton and Polly Wilcox officiating. Burial will follow at Warrens Grove Cemetery. The family of Bonnie Sue Birchfield will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2019. In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense. Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.Read Obituary
