Carl Ray "Old Man" Lewis Sr.

Carl Ray “Old Man” Lewis, Sr., age 62, husband of Pauline (Parms) Lewis of London, Kentucky, passed away Monday November 30, 2020 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Carl Ray Lewis, Jr. of London, Kentucky, Angela Lewis and Melissa Lewis both of Corbin, Kentucky; the brother of Eileen Hamblin of Corbin, Kentucky, Dewey Lewis and Danny Lewis both of Birmingham, Alabama, Silas Lewis of Perryville, Florida, Carolyn Fisher of Galveston, Alabama, Lorraine Jones, Belinda Lewis, and Michael Lewis all of London, Kentucky, Brenda Smith of Louisville, Kentucky, and David Lewis of Cedartown, Georgia; and the brother-in-law of Johnny Parms of London, Kentucky. He was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hagar and Delsia (Joseph) Lewis; and by his siblings, John C. Lewis, Aaron Lewis, Corsie (Lewis) Mullins, James Lewis, Jane Adkins, and Jim Lewis. Private services for Carl Ray “Old Man” Lewis, Sr. will be conducted Friday December 4, 2020 in London Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Hamblin and Carl Ray Lewis, Jr. officiating. Private burial will follow at Locust Grove Cemetery with DAV Chapter 158 Keavy in charge of military honors. Serving as pallbearers will be: Carl Ray Lewis, Jr., Johnny Parms, Jonathan Parms, Darren Watkins, and Aaron Burkhart. Due to the new mandate by the Governor, All Visitations, Funeral/Memorial Services and Graveside/Committal Services are limited to 25 individuals total, regardless of where the services are held.
