Carolyn Sue Smallwood

Carolyn Sue Smallwood, age 80, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Hillcrest Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corbin, Kentucky. She was the mother of Valerie Day and husband Wayne of Corbin, Kentucky, Pam Davidson and husband Brian, Shirley Day and husband Kenneth, and Tammy Kay Creech all of London, Kentucky, Mary Ann Hendrix and husband Daryl of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Margie Francis Grubb of Manchester, Kentucky. She is also survived by three brothers and one sister; seventeen grandchildren; and forty-five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Woodrow James Smallwood; by her parents, James and Nellie Francis (Byrd) Patrick; by seven brothers and three sisters. Funeral services for Carolyn Sue Smallwood will be conducted Thursday, August 27, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Evans and Bro. Johnny Day officiating. Burial will follow at Hale cemetery. The family of Carolyn Sue Smallwood will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
