Charles H. Woods

Charles H. Woods of London, KY, passed peacefully June 18, 2021, at Baptist Hospital in Lexington after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Charlene; his daughter Lindsay Reedy (Aaron); and grandchildren, Tanner, Arden, and Nolan. He also leaves behind his nephew, Craig Patton (Billie) and their family in Michigan; and his sister-in-law, Gail Burns (Don) and nephew, Matt Burns in North Carolina.He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ann Woods; his sister, Sarah Patton; nephew and nieces Johnny Patton, Susan Patton, Cathy Patton, and Margy Patton; and his in-laws, Charles and Loretta Pace.Charlie was a very loving husband, dad, and grandfather who was happiest when surrounded by family. He was a U.S. Army veteran, a graduate of East Tennessee State University, and a human resources manager for many years before opening a small business of his own. Charlie was also an old car enthusiast and enjoyed going to car shows and mingling with friends who shared his interest. He will be sorely missed.Burial was private in Tennessee.London Funeral Home was in charge of all funeral arrangements.Read Obituary
