Conitha Estilene (Hess) McKnight, age 50, wife of W. Joe McKnight of London, Kentucky passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. She was the mother of William Jayden McKnight, Lexie Jo McKnight, Alyssa McKnight, Devon McKnight, and Tonya (McKnight) Jackson all of London, Kentucky; the daughter of Delia (Williams) Hess of London, Kentucky; the sister of Anthony Hess and Eddie Hess both of London, Kentucky; the daughter-in-law of Esteen McKnight of London, Kentucky. She was also blessed with nine grandchildren; four nieces, Torrie Hess, Amanda and Sara McKnight, Elizabeth Alford; one nephew, Jared Hess. She was preceded in death by her father, Wayne Hess; by her father-in-law, Howard McKnight; by her grandparents, Walter and Edna Hess and Glen and Dorothy Williams; by several aunts and uncles; her sister-in-law, Leslie Hess; her brother-in-law, James (Jay) McKnight; by her nephew, Joshua (Josh Blackburn. She was a Social Worker and a member of Church of God in Jesus Name. Funeral services for Conitha Estilene (Hess) McKnight will be conducted Monday, August 5, 2019 at 4:30 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Paul Roark and Charlie Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Lickliter Cemetery. The family of Conitha Estilene (Hess) McKnight will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 1:30 p.m. until the service hour on Monday, August 5, 2019. Serving as pallbearers are: Brian Williams, Bradley Williams, Devon McKnight, Jared Hess, Jeff Thacker, Brandon Bruner and John Lundy. Conitha was a really good person with a contagious laugh. She was always in a good mood and always so full of life! You couldn't be around her and not be happy. She was a fantastic foster mother to me what short time I was in her care. It breaks my heart to see that she has passed.
