Daniel Warren James, age 56, of Lexington, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 04, 2019 at Saint Joseph East Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Randell Barrett Hayden Brewer of London, Kentucky, and Alexandra Elizabeth James of Louisville, Kentucky; the son of Patricia Ann (Foley) James of Sarasota, Florida; the brother of Richard Eugene James and wife Stephanie of Sarasota, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Eugene James. Private funeral services and visitation were at London Funeral Home. Burial will be in Palms Memorial Park Cemetery in Sarasota, Florida.

It’s been a lot of years ago but the James family were very special to me. From the time I was a baby til they closed down the little red hut in the front yard Gene n Pat were my 2 favorite people in the world. My condolences to you miss Pat! My dad Jimmy Smith used to bring me up n you were always soo good to me. Love n prayers for your family !

Oh yes .. I remember the little candy/ice ball stand they had. Enjoyed going there. That is a childhood memory for me as well. Dan was a funny and a awesome person. Sending prayers to the family.
