Danny Barrett

Danny Barrett, age 75, husband of Janet (Smith) Barrett of London, Kentucky passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Jennifer Nantz and John Bernard, Robin Barrett and David McWhorter, Cherish Medlock and husband Randy, and Wesley Barrett and wife Ida all of London, Kentucky, Michael Barrett and wife Myla of Hazard, Kentucky, and Craig Barrett and wife Missy of Winchester, Kentucky; the brother Jeff Barrett of McKee, Kentucky, Joan Burnett of Comstock, Texas, Joyce Madden of Gray Hawk, Kentucky, and Mary Ruth King of Annville, Kentucky. He was also blessed with eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his children, Ricky Barrett and Brian Barrett; by his parents, Hensley and Mae (Byrd) Barrett.A Ceremonial Tribute service for Danny Barrett will be conducted Thursday, December 30, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with James Allen officiating. The family of Danny Barrett will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
