Darrell Smith

Darrell Smith, age 83, of London, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, June 6, 2019 at Willow of Hamburg in Lexington, Kentucky. He was the father of Perry Smith and wife Sandra of London, Kentucky and Gregory Smith and wife Peggy of Seattle, Washington; the brother of Pauline Baker and Sharon Hibbard both of London, Kentucky, Charles Smith of Hamilton, Ohio, and Jackie Gabbard of Annville, Kentucky. He was also blessed with five grandchildren, Travis Smith, Brian Smith, Jonathan Smith, Katie Dampier, and Lauren Smith; and by seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva (Burch) Smith; by his parents, Leonard and Lillie (Cornelius) Smith; by one sister, Elene Banks. Funeral services for Darrell Smith will be conducted Sunday, June 9, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Garland Gabbard and Denny McCowan officiating. Burial will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. The family of Darrell Smith will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019. Serving as pallbearers are: Brian Smith, Travis Smith, Jonathan Smith, Jon Dampier, Andrew Smith, Coleton Smith, and Tanner Smith.Read Obituary
