Delford Wayne Woodyard, age 76, husband of Brenda (Waddle) Woodyard of London, Kentucky passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Melisa Miller of Atlanta, Georgia, Kassondra Stacey of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jeffrey Woodyard of Spokane, Washington, and Brandon Owens of Hampton, Virginia; the brother of Henry Woodyard, Johnny Woodyard, and Medius Woodyard all of London, Kentucky, Harold Woodyard of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Wilma Lockaby of Brownsburg, Indiana, and Wanda Shreiner of Frankfort, Michigan. He was also blessed with three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bart Jeffrey Woodyard and Dallie (Riddle) Woodyard; and by his siblings, Bart Woodyard, Jr., Steven Woodyard, Thelma Johnson, and Gladys Shelton.He was a 21 year veteran of the United States Air Force and having served in the Vietnam War and Cold War, a Kentucky Colonel, and Member of the Tennessee Chapter of the Sons of the Revolution.Private graveside services and burial with military honors for Delford Wayne Woodyard will conducted Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Bray Cemetery with Bradley Banks and Jamie Woodyard officiating. There will be no visitation. London Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.Read Obituary

Brenda im so sorry to hear of Delford passing. I always thought he was a very nice and friendly person . I know you and him got along very good and that will be a wonderful memory . It will be hard for you ,I know it is me after Sandy passed away. It doesnt seem to get any better. Our reunion is Saturday so I will not be in London that day. God Bless
Brenda we are so sorry to hear of Delfords passing. He sure was a fine person..he stopped by some days and sit a on the porch and talked and laughed with us. I'm here for you. Praying for God's strength and comfort for you and his Family. God bless. We love you .
