Donnie Hugh Burke Sr.

Donnie Hugh Burke, Sr., 82 of London, Kentucky passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at his residence. He was the father of Donnie Burke, Jr., Gary Burke, and Tony Burke all of Woodbine, Kentucky, and Tammie Huddleston of Williamsburg, Kentucky; the step-father of Cindy Minton and Eric Dalton both of London, Kentucky; the brother of Bill Burke of Chattanooga, Tennessee, Faye Blanton of Orlando, Florida, Brenda Sebert of Rockford, Minnesota, Elijah Burke, Jr., and Mike Burke both of Edmonton, Kentucky. He was also blessed with several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bobbie Jean (Lanham) Burke; by his second wife, Laura A. (Hamblin) Burke; by his parents, Elijah Burke and Alpha (Hansel) Burke; by one brother, Ted Burke. He was a Machinist for CTA, Member of Hugh Harris Shriner Lodge # 938, and Member of Star of Bethlehem Church. Funeral services for Donnie Hugh Burke, Sr., will be conducted Wednesday, January 03, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Ralph Hacker officiating. The family of Donnie Hugh Burke, Sr., will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the service hour on Wednesday, January 03, 2018.Read Obituary
