Doris Jean Taylor, age 82, of London, Kentucky passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at her residence. She was the mother of Randy Dale Sturgill and wife Beth of Shelbyville, Indiana; the sister of Christine Hess and Diane Ledington both of Lily, Kentucky, and Bonnie Bobble of Shelbyville, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Othar and Lola (Chaney) Taylor; by her siblings, Bobby Taylor, Bernice Trainer, Othar Taylor, Jr., and Jimmy Tate Taylor.Funeral services for Doris Jean Taylor will be conducted Monday, October 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Danny England officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family of Doris Jean Taylor will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.Read Obituary
Doris was a dear friend and when well attended Grace Community Church. She was loved by all the congregation but especially the kids. We will miss you so much Ms. Doris.
