Edna Louise Allen

Edna Louise Allen, age 84, of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Jackson Manor in Annville, Kentucky. She was the mother of Brenda Hicks, Barbara McIntosh, Gary Allen, and Thomas Allen all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, and Elizabeth Miller of Mount Vernon, Kentucky; the sister of Charles Tompkins of Millville, Ohio. She was also blessed with twenty-two grandchildren, and thirty great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman Allen; by her children, Stella Overbay, Herman Allen, Jr., Larry Wayne Allen, Jeannia Zeo, and Steven Joseph Allen; by her parents, Lank and Virtie (Lawson) Tompkins; and by four sisters and two brothers.Funeral services for Edna Louise Allen will be conducted Monday, June 28, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with George Blair and Joe Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery in East Bernstadt, Kentucky. The family of Edna Louise Allen will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until time of service on Monday.Serving as pallbearers will be family and friends.Read Obituary
