Click Here To View Livestream Of ServiceEdward Sweet, age 81, husband of Annette (Smith) Sweet of London, Kentucky passed away Thursday, June 17, 2021 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. He was the father of Cheryl Stacy and husband Darrell and Eddie Sweet and wife Debbie all of London, Kentucky. He was also blessed with two grandchildren, Jensen Brogan and husband Blake of Cantonment, Florida and Cole Sweet of London, Kentucky, four step-grandchildren, and seven step-great-grandchildren. He was also survived by his brother-in-law, Kenton Reynolds of London, Kentucky; by his nephew, Michael Reynolds and wife Sue of London, Kentucky; by his great-nephew, Josh Reynolds and wife Kristen of London, Kentucky, by his great great-nephew, Waylen Carter Reynolds, and by a host of family and friends to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Birchel and Ethel (Cobb) Sweet; by his sister, Bettie Ruth Reynolds; by his nephew, Charles Wayne Reynolds. He enjoyed spending his winters in his Florida home where neighbors and friends became family. He was also retired from Jones Motor Company, and was a member of Swiss Colony Baptist Church.Funeral services for Edward Sweet will be conducted Monday, June 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Jake Brock and Johnny Jervis officiating. Burial will follow at Merrimac Cemetery. The family of Edward Sweet will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Monday.
