Ed was a great example of a Christian, he always was smiling and making everyone at church feel welcome, he was a help to anyone who needed it. Ed was also our neighbor and friend who I will miss tremendously. I will always have fond memories of Ed. My prayers are with Jo Ann and the family.

Ed was a wonderful Christian & Deacon. He always spoke to me and Michael and J. Colt each Sunday. He made me feel important at Mt. Zion and that he was happy that my family was present. His kindness will be greatly missed.

in honor of Edward.

Every Sunday morning I knew that I would be greeted by Ed. "Hello, Ruth" and then that great big smile. He walked down the center section never missing a single person. On Sundays when it was difficult for him to walk he still made the painful journey because Ed knew how important it was to make people feel welcome at the assembly. Ed was one of the finest examples of a dedicated Christian. His beautiful smile and compassion will be greatly missed at Mt. Zion Church of Christ. It's hard to imagine a service with Ed's presence.
