Effie Berlin Hurley

Effie Berlin Hurley, age 49, wife of Donald Hurley of East Bernstadt, Kentucky passed away Thursday, October 22, 2020 at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was the mother of Neechie Hurley of London, Kentucky, Jessica McQueen J.T. Hurley, Randy Gullet, and Michelle Savage all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky, Theresa Combost of Shelbyville, Kentucky, and Neechie Pamela Hurley of Indianapolis, Indiana; the sister of Robert Riley and Carolyn Witt both of Richmond, Kentucky, Linda Abney of Shelbyville, Kentucky, and Elizabeth Doan of Indianapolis, Indiana. She was also blessed with thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Hurley, Jr.; by her mother, Geraldine Eden; and by her grandmother, Virginia Eden. Funeral services for Effie Berlin Hurley will be conducted Monday, October 26, 2020 at 12:00 noon in London Funeral Home Chapel with James Allen officiating. Burial will follow at Earl Bowling Cemetery. The family of Effie Berlin Hurley will receive friends at London Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 25, 2020.
