Elizabeth Bennett

Elizabeth Bennett, age 80, of Lily, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at her residence. She was the mother of Vanda Kaye Dabney of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Dennis Bennett of Knoxville, Tennessee, Anthony Bennett of London, Kentucky, Wayne Bennett of Pineville, Kentucky, Claude Bennett and Teddy Bennett both of Lily, Kentucky; the sister of Hiram Lewis of Covington, Kentucky and Hurlen Tolliver of Harlan, Kentucky. She was also survived by 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Eugene Bennett; by her parents, Alfred Lewis and Martha (Tolliver) Lewis; and by her siblings, Mary Lewis, Herschel Lewis, Arvel Lewis, Rachel Parther, Clarence Lewis, Edith Baliey, and Harvey Tolliver. Funeral services for Elizabeth Bennett will be conducted Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 12:00 Noon in London Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Larry Paul Roark officiating. Burial will follow at Harris Cemetery in Fogertown, Kentucky. The family of Elizabeth Bennett will receive friends at London Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 11:00 AM until the service hour. Pallbearers will be Jesse Howard, Brandon Bennett, Osiel Vasquez Jr, Gary Bennett, Michael Bennett, and Bill Lewis. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jake Bush, Josh Bennett, Travis Stroms, and Eric Pranscum.Read Obituary
