Ivory Rose Maxey

Ivory Rose (Wynn) Maxey, age 82 of London, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 21, 2019 at her residence. She was the mother of Emily Chadwell and husband Charles, Brian Maxey, and James Maxey all of London, Kentucky, Donnie Maxey and wife Marilyn, and Judy Harris all of East Bernstadt, Kentucky. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her spouse, James Maxey; by her parents, Gobal and Mattie (Thomas) Wynn; by one brother and seven sisters; by her longtime companion, Charles "Bill" Chadwell. Funeral services for Ivory Rose (Wynn) Maxey will be conducted Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in London Funeral Home Chapel with Delmer Gross officiating. Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens. The family of Ivory Rose (Wynn) Maxey will receive friends at London Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the service hour on Wednesday, September 25, 2019. Serving as pallbearers are: Dalton Chadwell, Charles Chadwell, Ronnie CHadwell, Josh Southard, Shane Newton, and Jeff Allen.In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to London Funeral Home toward funeral expense.Read Obituary
